My 400th and why you and I blog

    I can't believe I hit number 400 already.  Being that it's a 'milestone', a grain of sand in reality, I've been thinking since yesterday of what to write about.  As usual, there are plenty of headlines to comment on and I will soon this week.  But I didn't want to make number 400 just another rant or rave, I wanted it to be a bit off track of my norm. 
   Then it kind of hit me, why at 400 do I continue to do this?  Why does any of us continue to put time, money, and energy into a online blog?  The younger generations have their 'MySpace/Facebook' and the like where they 'blog' their lives away.  For them it's more of a way of socializing, sad if you think about it.  An entire generation of semi-introverts.  Then there's the older generations that have found a new medium of communication on a broad level...the Blog.  (Sounds like another very bad Sci-Fi Channel movie title.) 
   Back in the day....before cell phones, telephones, TV, radio,.....I mean way back in the day.....people's means of communication was often limited to word of mouth or a written letter.  School lesson's we often heard of the people standing in the 'town square' to give a speech to anyone who would listen.  That can be traced back to the beginning of recorded civilizations themselves.  Throughout time, people could distinguish themselves more readily too since the population was often not very large and a person would be known for who and what they said and did. 
   Fast forward to 2008, with the populations of most major cities in excess of millions of people.  A person can easily be 'lost in the crowd' these days and live their entire life without ever being known outside of their neighborhood.   Question dear reader:  do you know everyone in your neighborhood, street, or building?  By name!
   So came this invention called the Internet.  Wow.  It was like going to the library or bookstore without leaving home, sending a letter without waiting ten days for a reply.  Then there's the business aspects too.  But for the average person, it became a way of finding information, then it grew beyond that and someone started writing thoughts and observations for all to see.  This medium, has become the new town square.  It has become a way for the average person to break out and above the crowd and get their voice heard, read actually.
   Deep down, that is the reason I believe, we blog.  Who isn't an 'armchair quarterback, general, politican, CEO here?  Even if you are actually one of the above...you still put your thoughts out there on matters that are important to you in various hopes that only you know.
   Why do I blog?  For the very same reasons I've mentioned and for the very same reasons you do.  Will there come a time that I will end this?  Yes.  I'm not sure if it will happen before God calls me home, but honestly, I"ll give you a heads-up.  I will not be doing this much longer, and when I do end it, I'll tell you why.  But I will leave you with this thought:

Again - the Democratic Leadership shows it's true face

     The other day I heard Howard Dean, Chairman of the DNC, mention people in Mississippi and Georgia (?) and mentioned pick up trucks and gun racks.  This is not the first time.  I was trying to find the exact article/interview so put it on line here, but the hits kept popping up from Dean's remarks back in 2000, 2003/4, about the very same thing.  It's obvious - OBVIOUS - that Howard Dean has no respect nor love for the South.  Much less anyone...who drives a pick up truck and has a gun rack in it.  Namely, any rural persons, or people outside of his blue blood East Coast circle-jerk of friends. 
   Couple that with Barak Obama's statements from San Francisco a few weeks ago.....hello.....the DNC hiearchy definitely has a belief that they are superior to anyone who is not in their little 'clique'.  It doesn't matter what race you are either. 
   And Dean....has been accusing the Republicans, God believing and Christian practicing, Military serving and served, and anyone who namely believes in God and Country....of race baiting. 
   Another 'hello' moment, or in Dean's case (yyyiaaaahhh), I have not seen nor heard ANY ad, radio show, TV show, newspaper, where Republicans or Conservatives have said anything derogatory concerning a person's race during this campaign season.  Have you??!!
  But look at the DNC leadership and the Barak Obama 'camp' n' followers....it's nothing but racial coming from them.  They brought it up, they've distorted it, they've been the one's - "race baiting!" 
  I hope there are very few 'sheepeople' in Indiana and North Carolina who follow Barak and Dean off the cliff like lemmings.

You want muslims living next to you

    Not all Muslims are terrorist but:  

The first attack on the wedding convoy in the town of Balad Ruz was carried out by a female suicide bomber, said Army Maj. Gen. Abdul-Karim al-Rubaie, an official with the Diyala provincial operations center that oversees the town.

About 10 minutes later, a man detonated his explosives as rescue workers were trying to help the victims of the first attack, Al-Rubaie said.
 
    This was a 'wedding' ceremony.  Civilians, innocent people celebrating the joyous union of life.  But muslims, with their down to the core beliefs....killed themselves and killed innocent people.  With the growing muslim populations in the Western World and beyond...it's only a matter of time before this begins to happen.  Look what Muslims did to the Russian school children, massacred an entire school of children without blinking an eye. 
    Every Nation in this World has killers of every race, creed, religion, nationalilty, but the continued massacre's of innocent people is being perpetrated by mainly one group.   Evidence seems to be pointing to Shite muslims aligned with Al Qaida.  I wonder how long the Muslim's themselves will continue to endure fellow Muslim's committing murder en masse in the name of their religion.  The Catholic and Protestant Christian's in Northern Ireland finally took control of their religous zealots....time for Islam to do the same and prove it is a religion of peace and tolerance.

Obama/Wright Campaign strategy

    I was listening to Sean Hannity this afternoon, and a male caller stated he felt there was more going on to the past weekend's and Monday's speeches by Obama/Wright.  Sean said he honestly feels that there is an animosity now between the two once 'friends' and that both are being honest.  "Bang your head...heavy metal drives you mad..!! - Quiet Riot".   That's how I felt when I heard Sean's reply back to his caller.  Now Sean believes that there is some behind the scene's Democratic power broker that is going to make the two sit down and talk it out for unity sake...but what is forgotten here is that this is a multi-million dollar campaign organization going on.  In my previous post I said that this whole weekend was orchestrated and I still believe it.   This campaign for the Presidency is 'war'. 
   After all of the heat and losses Barak has suffered since 'the truth' has been coming to light and press....the Obama Factory has had to re-tool and market a new bright shiny product for the dumbmasses - (say that last word quickly to yourself).
   So the Obama Factory Board of Die-rectors strategize a new plan.  A joint pincer attack upon the media, Clintons, and the un-informed whom they depend upon.  Jeremiah Wright would take the high ground, waving banners and flags, blowing trumpets and become the focus of attention, while Barak Obama would sneak quietly from the flank and at the appropriate moment, charge onto the front portraying a savior to the assaulted and become the hero of the day.  Meanwhile his 'ally' would cease the trumpets and pull down the banners and flags and withdrawl back to Camp Obama and begin quietly maneuvoring into his next staging area for the next assault. 
   Now that everyone's attention is still focused upon Wright's last foray and still reacting to it...Obama is slipping deeper into enemy terrority disquised as a friend and savior.  Being the true life long politician...telling everyone exactly what they want to hear, but not what they should be hearing which is the truth.

The 'race' about the race

    No matter who says it, this President race is about 'race'.  The only reason it's about 'race' now, is because one certain 'candidate' hid a lot from the media until recently when 'subliminal' thoughts surfaced in the forms of words. 
   A few months ago I finally watched this movie called 'Crash' made in 2004.  It's a movie that deals with 'race' and the perspective though somewhat 'stereotypical' in each character, does reflect a large portion of each racial group and the events that take place in their daily lives. 
   Barak H. Obama (it's not politically correct to put 'Hussein') and Rev. Jeremiah Wright this past few days, have both been taking the stage front and center.  Each of them often in a demographically chosen setting.  Now what I don't buy, is that after a twenty year relationship, Obama has totally dropped Wright and/or Wright has totally ignored Obama over the matter of one week.  With the Presidency of the United States at stake....I don't think so.  Like every campaign organization, everything is planned and choregraphed along the way, especially when it comes to crisis times. 
   The only 'wild card' has been Bill Clinton and some of his off the cuff remarks, but a few of them have seem to work in his favor. 
    Look at these campaigns, each group raises 'millions' of dolllars.  MILLIONS of dollars.  Do you honestly think that what publicly planned events and statements that hit the press are not planned??!!
   I read that many in Congress, both Houses, silently support Barak.  Silently in public that is.  Behind closed doors is another meaning.  The U.S. is facing a historical time of it's life.  Whomever is to lead this Nation the next four years had better have the 'experience' to do the job without question.  Without hesitation.  Without doubt. 
   So are all of these public love fest for Barak out of fear of being called a 'racist'?  With some people I'm sure it is.  Now, for a person who is blind, with sadly, no vision at all......what would really matter to them?  Close your eyes and open your ears and mind and begin to finally make a sound choice and judgement.

Hold 'N Vote Conservatives

   Listening to a rebroadcast of Laura Ingraham's Friday show this past week, I heard many callers and Laura pretty much in unison.  The 'conservatives' of America are not too happy with Sen. McCain.  There was a few bits about McCain asking the GOP of North Carolina to pull and repudiate an advertisement highly critical of a Democratic opponet using some Rev. Wright clips in their 'attack' ad.  Isn't State politics supposed to be seperate from Federal (Government) politics?  Here we go again...States rights!!
   What struck me is what 'conservatives' must do this November.  Conservatives have a few choices: one - stay home and not vote.  two - vote for someone else in another party, or three:  if you're not a big McCain supporter and do not want to see an Obama or Clinton Presidency....."hold your nose and vote" for McCain. 
   Then remember what happened in 2007 and how we got into the place we are today with the choices we have.  Remember this come 2011.

Obama - The Truth - The Military too

    I found a very interesting link today on a Military forum where many people who support the U.S. Military are discussing the Presidential elections.  It's no wonder to me at all, that the Democrats despise the U.S. Military.  When I talk Democrats, the true hard corps Democrat party members, especially their politicians.  But this link, with video attached is a must watch and read!!  Pass it on too. 
   Listening to Barak reading his book, for some reason he uses a 'Jamacian' accent.  I guess Democratic politicians can't help themselves to pander subconsciously and often subliminal thoughts slip as we've heard many times over and over.

Los Angeles is becoming a "Third World city" with immigrants making up half its workforce, says a new study.

    A third of immigrants have not graduated from high school and 60 per cent do not speak English fluently, the Migration Policy Institute found.

    Los Angeles 'is a Third World city'

    It said this left immigrants ill-equipped to fill California's fastest-growing occupations, such as computer software engineering and nursing. The organisation added that as the so-called baby boomers reach retirement age, a similar pattern will spread across the US.

    Ernesto Cortes Jr, of the Industrial Areas Foundation, a think-tank that specialises on social change, claimed Los Angeles was at a crossroads.

    "The question is are we going to be a 21st century city with shared prosperity, or a Third World city with an elite group on top and most on near poverty wages?" he said.

    The US Census Bureau last year predicted that by 2050, minorities will account for half of all residents across America.

    It registered the largest numerical increases in minority residents in metropolitan Los Angeles, Riverside, in California, Dallas, Houston and New York.

    In 2000, according to the Census Bureau, whites were in a minority in 262 US counties, up from 183 in 1990.

    Nationally, the number of minorities topped 100 million for the first time in 2006, to make up about one third of the population.

    Blackberry stain on Mexico

       Isn't this a nice little story?  Rafael Quintero Curiel is clearly a liar. 

    Sources said Quintero Curiel made it all the way to the airport before Secret Service officers caught up with him. He initially denied taking the devices, but after agents showed him the DVD, Quintero Curiel said it was purely accidental, gave them back, claimed diplomatic immunity.
     
       He is sooooo guilty it's not funny.  Now, how high up did this go in the Mexican Government that had knowledge of the act, the premeditation of his act, and the cover-up all the way to the airport before the Secret Service stopped this now 'international thief'?   At the very least, very least....Rafael Quintero Curiel should be declared 'persona non-grata' by our State Department with White House endorsement.  If not....we (the United States) will not be respected at all by anyone.

    Whether he was up to no good or simply desperate to play BrickBreaker, a Mexican press attaché was caught on camera by Secret Service pocketing several White House BlackBerries during a recent meeting in New Orleans, FOX News has learned.

    Sources with knowledge of the incident said the official, Rafael Quintero Curiel, served as the lead press advance person for the Mexican Delegation and was responsible for handling logistics and guiding the Mexican media around at the conference. He took six or seven of the handheld devices from a table outside a special room in the hotel where the Mexican delegation was meeting with President Bush earlier this week.

    Everyone entering the room was required to leave his or her cell phone, BlackBerry and other such devices on the table, a common practice when high-level meetings are held. American officials discovered their missing belongings when they were leaving the session.

    It didn't take long before Secret Service officials reviewed videotape taken by a surveillance camera and found footage showing Quintero Curiel absconding with the BlackBerries.

    Sources said Quintero Curiel made it all the way to the airport before Secret Service officers caught up with him. He initially denied taking the devices, but after agents showed him the DVD, Quintero Curiel said it was purely accidental, gave them back, claimed diplomatic immunity and left New Orleans with the Mexican delegation.It is unclear what disciplinary measures, if any, await him in Mexico. White House spokeswoman Dana Perino refused to discuss the incident, telling FOX News, "We are aware of the situation, but as it's under investigation by law enforcement officials, we will decline to comment."

    In One Election Year - A must read

      When you pop open that email in the morning, or whenever, you see something from someone you know and the subject line has the initials "FW:" on it.  Instantly you groan inside, another stupid joke, or puppys and kittens picture, or Jesus will save you if you send this to ten people in ten minutes email.  The subject line caught my attention a bit more so instead of hitting the good ol' 'delete' button and I'm glad I did read it, which is why I'm putting it here for you dear reader, to read and pass on the information.  I will not add anything to this at the end.  I've had to do a bit of font editing to get it all here.  And now, In One Election Year.....
     
     

    This email comes in three parts:

    In just one year.  Remember the election in 2006? 

    Thought you might like to read the following: 

    A little over one year ago: 

    1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high; 

    2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon; 

    3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%. 


    Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we have seen:

    Hillary's Victory/Pollster's defeat

        Doesn't this sound familiar?  The pollster's said it again that Hillary would lose in Pennsylvania, or win by the narrowest margin, again, they were wrong big time.  Two lessons to be learned:  one:  do not - underestimate, the American voter.  two:  when you hear the words 'the polls say".....change the channel.  Face it pollster's:  American's do not want to be bothered with  your stupid questions.  We have way too much other things on our minds and things to do other than to waste time anwering your b.s. questions that are only self serving to you.
      That's why we hang up, or say, we're not interested, etc.  We hear the news, we watch the stories and talk amongst ourselves.  We're not as dumb as the main stream media and even talk radio
